2007-2008 Groomers' Report
Saturday 12/13 we groomed the Keechelus Ridge system for the first time this winter.  The whole system was groomed except the little stub down to
Price Creek Sno-Park (snow too thin).  There is approximately 14 inches of snow at Kachess and Gold Creek, with about 24 inches of snow
everywhere above about 4000 feet.   Assuming we don't lose snow, Keechelus Ridge will continue to be groomed on schedule.   Not enough snow to
groom Swauk/Teanaway/Table Mountain yet.

December 18th, 2008 -
Keechelus Ridge did not get groomed on Thursday due to problems with the groomer truck.  Those problems are still being worked on today.   We
began groming on the east end, and gromed from Blewett Pass up to Lion Rock junction, but the snow is still very thin there.  We were hitting a lot of
rocks and so we're going to hold off any further grooming in the Table Mountain area until we get more snow.
December 23rd - All cats and trucks are finally working!    Groomed Table Mountain and Naneum routes yesterday.  Just barely enough snow to do
anything with - compacts down to maybe 4-6 inches.   Working today on Blue Cr./Red Top/ Dickey Cr. and the upper ends of Durst/Cougar/Lion gulches
(if snow permits).   Report is 2-3 feet of snow at Red Top.    The plan for tomorrow is to do Jack Cr. and North Fork Teanaway, then back to Keechelus
Ridge Friday and Saturday.    Continued grooming on Table Mountain will be hit and miss depending on snow depth.   Happy holidays to all!
January 6th Report - Monday 1/5  - Haney Meadow (day shift), Table Mountain (night shift)
Tuesday 1/6 - Blue Creek/Red Top accomplished.  The shift was aborted in early afternoon before they could do either Jack Creek or Dickey Creek due
to heavy rain.  (The snow was balling up so baldly that blading actually made the situation worse.)
Regarding  recovery of the Bombardier: our plan remains to move cats up the road tomorrow and  attempt the recovery on Thursday IF the avalanche
danger has abated by then.
